Mrs Janet Thomas

Janet gave her life to Christ in Sunday School - also at the age of 7. Originally from Island Falls in Maine, she has been living in Fredericton for 19 years now.
Janet has been working in our Community & Family Services for 6 years. Previous to that her career has seen her in the role of a stay-at-home mum, a childcare provider, a sales clerk & a store manager.
Her passion for ministry is to provide a friendly, non-threatening environment for our clients. She says she wants to, "build an encouraging relationship with the clients, while fulfilling my role as a conduit of compassion under the social arm of The Salvation Army."
Janet is happily married for 44 years to a Wesleyan Pastor and has 2 sons and 6 grandchildren. She believes her life has been enriched by the everyday people that she has loved and served. She is happy to be part of our team at The Salvation Army and is incredibly grateful to the staff and volunteers who work along side her each day.
